With over 20 years of experience in real estate development sales and marketing across the Mountain West, John Calhoun is a seasoned industry leader. As the Director of Sales at Promontory Club, he brings a wealth of expertise from his previous role as Sales and Marketing Director at Schweitzer Mountain Development in Idaho, where he successfully revitalized its real estate program after a 20-year hiatus.
His role at Promontory marks a return to Park City, where he spent a decade shaping the luxury real estate market as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for East West Partners at Village at Empire Pass in Deer Valley and as Partner-President at Slifer Smith and Frampton in Park City.
An individual with many passions and talents, Calhoun is an avid skier, horseman, and former rodeo-bull rider. He was an elite Army Ranger and is also a pilot, journalist and a skilled carpenter.
